I'll go with what Kevin says
Unless, I am misreading, Kevin does not say there is no benefit for K16 cars. He simply said that changing the wastegates will not allow a K24 car to spool as quickly as a K16 car. That said, I would imagine that the K16s would not benefit *as much* as K24 cars (lower volume of air to force the gates open), however, there would still be a benefit.

The answer is NO, however, the wastegate kit will prop up and give you 30 to 35% increase in spool up vs stock K24's. Adding my new HyFlow turbine wheel will give you a 500RPM reduction in lag!
Theres a quote from the cited thread. And unless I'm misreading the thread, Kevin does not offer a wastegate kit for the K16.

So, let's see a link to the wastegate/actuator kit for the K16.

Right. He makes no mention of it not benefiting a K16 car. He says it won't make a K24 respond like a K16, but he also does not state that its not worth it on a K16 car.

Here is a link to a K16 actuator (also works for a K24): http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/a...r-upgrade.html (not from Kevin, but then, that doesn't mean its useless).
