Where do you live? You should be able to get PS2's in the mid 1200 range.

I'm ready for the Hankook's to wear out. I have 10K on them and the rearsstill have about half their tread on the insides. They are great dd tire, but the vagueness on turn-in is starting to get old. I guess my driving is improving.

I paid $2100 for four OEM Michelin Pilot Sport tires (front and back), mounting/balance/alignment included.

Why did you need an alignment from a tire swap? Doesn't make sense, unless you needed one anyway and just put it off until you were having thetires done...

that sounds about what i've paid when i've had to buy them retail, all in. which i'm facing now. i really got spoiled by pairs of rear ps2's for 600 delivered! plus i don't feel i need to align when just swapping out rears.

ssst: i meant front AND rears. they are roughly 550 each here in fema region 9 aka the west coast.

I just noticed you are running GT2 sizes. 1700 is about right. 1450 for the stock turbo sizes.

1. I hadn't had an alignment in eight years.

2. I installed a new steering wheel and there was not a spline arrangement I could use that would result in a level steering wheel.
