ha! no worries. i have seen 10.5 compression on these motors but not the higher gt3 compression. high compression and boost dont make nice with each other.
Last night: drove to the Porsche Experience center for a Hagerty event. Did a hot lap in a new GT3. Supposedly only 50 HP more than my car, but Launch Control is something you have to experience: 0-60 in 3 seconds.
Excellence Magazine and NADA list the weight as 3660 pounds. I don't think those are accurate though in terms of no driver/passenger and a full tank (seems too high).

The GT3 is listed at 3153 pounds.
Agreed. though I specifically searched the weight of a TT Tip Cab at 3,428. Go figure.
In any case, It wasn't apples & apples because Porsche Experience Center doesn't hand you the keys - you have to be driven. So the driver adds a weight penalty.

Dry Coupe Tiptronics are 3494, manuals are 3395. Cabs are even heavier than that.
The old mount was not completely destroyed as some I've seen (my car has 50k miles, for reference), but still due for replacement:

Much better:
All in all, not too tough of a job, but a little bit of a pain if you don't have a lift. The 16mm side facing nose bolts are torqued to 85lbs. with blue threadlocker, so that was a bit challenging without being able to fit a long breaker bar.
Before I got the car 1.5 years ago, I never would have envisioned doing these kinds of jobs myself, though -- all of the DIY'ers on here are really encouraging. Likewise, I would encourage anyone inclined to tackle this job themselves!
Sorry, no driving impressions yet. I have a few more things to take care of before she comes down off the jackstands.
