Solution is still working (not working but no warning light) after a 50 mile drive at highway speeds.

Fixed wing kit or electric? Sort of saying 2 things there.
(I don't disagree but have had enough P cars that I am used to "it's always something"...IMS, bore score, etc)

Did you? Reread the post and link instructions, one set of wires goes to open, the other set gets connected. Then unplug the switch on on the dash.
Result is the spoiler stays down all the time and the warning light does not come on. That's all there is to it.

Then I would urge you to try it if you're ok with the spoiler being in the down position all the time. Driving is much more enjoyable with the warning light not going off every 15 mins or 15 miles or whatever it is. I was looking for those instructions for a long time and I though no way it would work. But so far all is well.
