There are many great tuners out there. I think getting your location and what you're future car plans are would help! If you plan to add more mods in the future (and you probably will once you get the bug), you will want to select a tune that can grow with you without paying full price each upgrade!

Im just getting the ECU Upgrade with F-pipe & Diverter Valve combo. Already have Fabspeed Exhaust & Fabspeed Intake upgrade.

Softronics doesn't required sending my ECU for tuning, can be performed @ my garage... which is great for me.

EPL is another that doesn't require sending in your ECU.

There are many that don't require ecu removal. I think Kevin @ UMW has a remote loader as well.

I like the fact that Kevin at Ultimate Motor-werks has a strong presence on the boards. If my car didn't already have GIAC software, I would buy from him.

TachiF, feel free to give me a call. You don't need to rip your ECU out of your car with my tuning system.

Call Kevin....

HP sells cars. Torque wins races..... UMW code does not lack in HP btw.

Someone said this (not my quote), but I like it.

Pretty simple actually...

OLD K16/K24 Turbos, Kevin's EXCELLENT tune, SAMCO Boost hoses, 5Bar FPR, Wastegate springs, Bailey DVs, and the appropriate drivetrain, suspension, and brake upgrades... Did I mention this is NOT a drag car?

Running what is essentially the UMW Clutch kit... GT3 Sprung hub disc with Fibertuff material on it, along with the sachs motorsport PP and a 964RS LWFW.

This past year we had the transmission rebuilt. I now have the 997TT mainshaft, along with its 1 and 2 gears, and the cupcar 5th gear. I'm running stock 3/4/6 gears but am using steel syncros in 3/4/5. The addition of the guards 60/40 LSD and the 997SSK make it all work very well. We plan to install an oil cooler over the winter, along with the new GT2 front end conversion we're doing...

Mike
