Regardless the sway bar, I'd want adjustable end links... Otherwise, the bending angle will fatigue and snap the end link over time.

Mike, Dell --

Got it, thanks! Will get:

1) Matched GMG sway bars

2) Front and rear drop links from TRG

3) Tarett Toe Links w/Bump Steer (Rear) plus Tarett Locking Plate Kit

4) Tarett Front Tie Rods w/Bump Steer

I appreciate your inputs, am looking forward to getting the car set up.

Are you planning on really lowering the car and having it professionally bump steered? If not, then the bump steer toe arms are not needed. That will same you some $$$.

I'd still personally do the toe links/lockouts, if for no other reason, so you can lock out the eccentrics in the rear. They're known to slip... But as Dell mentions, plan for a good corner/balance and setup through a qualified Porsche tuner...

Mike/Dell --

Thanks again. I am probably a bit confused. Which of these following two rear items do I really need?:

A Toe Link w/Bump Steer?:

http://www.tarett.com/items/996-997-...bmp-detail.htm

Or a Rear Toe Control Arm?:

http://www.tarett.com/items/996-997-...lnk-detail.htm

Do they BOTH require a professional bump steer and corner balance, or is it ok to use the Rear Control Arm and end plates without doing the bump steer adjustment and corner balance? and if so, do I even need to mess with the front toe item?

Guess I am still having a hard time figuring out which part is really most prone to fail and needs replacement. Again, the car will only be lowered to X73 specs (about 20mm), so it is not extreme, and I am not planning to do continual adjustments, just want a slightly lower setup (European spec) with flatter handling. I didn't really plan on going to the extent of corner balancing, but I am not familiar with the various components. What I am really looking for is just a reasonably simple setup, replacing parts that are prone to fail, for occasional track use. What say you?

Only the one with bump steer adjustment can be bump steered. Just the standard toe arms one have toe adjustment but no bump steer adjusting. You don't "need" the front toe arms.

If you are running the X73 then you don't need the bump steer adj units.

Regardless, I would get a full professional alignment when everything is installed. It shouldn't be very expensive since you cannot corner balance the X73 either.
