Default Turbocharger Jewelry by Ultimate Motorwerks

I finished a set of my Stage 2a/3 hybrid turbochargers last week.

These units sport the new 997GT2 compressor wheels. To date these wheels are the most efficient "new" compressor technology available.

PRICING FOR THE STAGE 2A kit is $5,895.00

75mm compressor housing inlet with a CNC'd parabolic shape

Zero clearance process for maximum efficiency>anti lag feature..

CNC'd aluminum reinforced backplates.

Billet wastegates with adjustable progressive springs

Ported turbine housings

oil inlet check valves

I had a set of these installed on my 996TT about two months ago. After the break-in period, I got to try them out at Mid-Ohio.

Bottom line - 4 seconds per lap faster than last year, when I had stock K16's and Upsolute flash. The thing I found somewhat surprising is the throttle response is so smooth, it was really easy to get used to the increased horsepower.

Kevin spent a lot of time educating me about turbos in the process, and it was overall a very positive experience, with great results.

Just be aware of how quickly these things spool. IT is almost frightening. I love them, but the hit comes about 1000 rpm sooner than most of the turbos I have ever been in.

I have stock K24s on my X-50 with tip. These look like they would do well at dealing with my lag issue. but what about top end? Will they push as much air as the k24s? My guess is yes, they will, a lot more. But I want Kevin to say it so I will know its true as opposed to just what I am guessing.

Kevin, as usual, outstanding workmanship. PM me with pricing.
I need to stop showing up around here! It's one very slippery slope!

The common question that I am receiving this morning is "how much power"

I have had these turbochargers spooling at 1bar by 2500 RPM's which equals 400 ft lbs at 2500 RPM's.. Our bottom end CANNOT take that kind of low end grunt..

Kevin -

The dyno curve you posted - was that on 100 octane? Anything special about the fueling?

Thanks,

Jon

At what boost level and what fuel was used on the dyno graph you presented? Upgraded injectors? Great job.

Kevin: does the above graph means that with these turbos you need to shift at lower RPM to avoid a drop in the boost?
