But the amature answer is that based on Michelin pilot sport ps2 specs your rear would be 26.3 in and front (225 40 19) would be 26.1 or about a 1% difference. I have read that 4% is maximum difference permitted. Compare this to stock 18 in sizes; 25in rear 25.1in front. These cars tend to understeer and as I interpret tireracks charts you would have a .1 narrower front tire in the 19. Based on 225 vs 235, a 10mm difference or .2 inch. I like the look of 997TT wheels on 966TT, if you need spacers be sure to get appropriate lugs also. Good luck
