In a straight line race? I'm pretty sure reflashed K16's, exhaust and intake will do the job just fine. I've heard of some guys putting nearly 500 to the wheels with just those.

I believe Scott (Divexxtreme on 6speed) put 516 to the wheels (or something like that) with just the GIAC hammer file, exhaust and intake with K16's. With that said, I think that his was pretty unusual, but i wouldnt doubt 470-480 whp to be possible, which i think would be enough to hang/take a 997 Turbo.

Not sure on the other guys driving capabilities, but I took a new 997 tt...3 times. once from 0, again from about 20 and then again around 40ish. I had the GIAC flash and EVO intake at the time. Now I have the EVO diverters and some headers which allowed me to catch and pass an M6 about 4 hours ago, great time.

996tt with k16's, GIAC flash and fabspeed loud dynos 450 to the wheels. 997tt stock comes with 480 at the flywheel. What am I missing here. It will absolutely run with a stock 997tt.

the biggest difference in the new TT is the turbos. I really think you need to go to a hybrid turbo.
that with exhaust, intake and proper programing should do it nicely.
If you are starting out with an X-50 would be relatively cheap.
