Hear are a few warranty stories..

One customer (a Rennlister) had purchased my programming, 6 later under his CPO warranty his vario cam module went. He flashed in his stock file took the car in to the dealer and had the engine repaired under his CPO warranty.

Another customer had a cylinder head spring a leak. Casting flaw in the aluminum exhaust port. The customer flashed in his stock file, drove the car into the dealer and drove it out with a new cylinder head..

I can't stress enough that you have to remember to flash the stock file in..
Kevin,

So everytime I take the car in for service I have to change it back??

Also, what would happen in an accident? As our insurance companies are a little anti Flashing?? Would it still be possible to revert back? Obviously depending on the damage?

And Finally;
I have a warranty for my car that I can extend for the next 9 years at an expense of $1,595 AUD. Do you Suggest that I continue with this based on your past experience with these vehicles??

I would suggest that you flash your stock file in.

As long as you can turn the ignition key (never starting) you can flash the ANY file within 15 seconds.

That is a reasonable fee for warranty.
