Turbos will cost you around 3K or so. Install is about a 6 hour deal. It is not hard, just time consuming. I also suggest doing plugs while you are in there if nothing else to head off a large labor bill in the future.

With proper software it IS well worth the upgrade. Your K16 software will not work with the K24s.

If you are going to change the turbos out...why not go hybrid?

That price was for my Stage 2 tuning system, the package is supplied with turbochargers and programming. It also includes my billet wastegates installed, 5bar fuel pressure regulator and Race gas file.

For programming one gets to keep your stock Porsche file, pump gas performance file, Valet file and race gas file.

Headers, Zero Clearance mods, bypass valves and clutch kits are options.

Kevin: What do you mean by zero clearance mods? Was looking at your web page the other day, but can not understand what is meant by that.

Thanks..

Search for KPG's post on the Stage 2 setup, 'Dyno Numbers Are In : A Lesson In Power Under The Curve' and it says it all. This is a great package and 0 clearence really gets rid of any material turbo lag.

UMW is tops in my book. I am biased. But, I have run with his stuff now for 6 months without a hickup. Good luck. I plan to go zc at the right time.

this is alot of "upgrading" and very complicated. for what Kevin's "kit" includes it is a good deal and really nowhere to cut costs without decreasing performance or reliability.
