Default Spark plug choices

This is what I've gotten so far. I haven't been able to find the Bosch Fr6 LDC or the Denso PK20PR-P as an applicable plug for a 996 Turbo. Am I missing something?

Try to contact some of the tuners and get more info regarding the best sparkplugs for your particular mods.

The Beru plugs are also made in Brazil.. I recommend the Bosch FR6-LDC..

Kevin told me the Bosch FR6-LDC. So I put them in. Beru's came out. Car sings now....wasn't bad before (26k)....but it seems better. I think if plugs work, one is just "happy" when they don't work.....

and I have been told that cold weather, etc., can play make less than ideal plugs an issue. So, I listen to the guru and will likely just not have a problem.

FWIW.

JB

The Bosch plugs tend to last longer than the Beru.

Kevin, is there any benefit to indexing these dual-tip FR6-LDC's? By that I mean line up the electrodes in any particular way, parallel to the crank or perpendicular, or?

Thanks

If you are rarely above .8 bar how long should I expect the Bosch plugs to last? Thanks.

It will be tough due to the two torque values specified. We also have a 4 valve head. The benifits might exist, but not the extent when you had a large 2 valve head.

Boulder with the crap 91 octane the Beru's are spent in less than two years. Faster when you are running higher boost.
