Default Upsolute Experiences: Upsolute owners only please!

Many "what is the best ECU" posts exist. I was hoping that only actual owners of the Upsolute ECU upgrade would comment here so that the likes and dislike of the upgrade can be discussed without getting into a who's best battle. I would like to hear from owners that have installed the upgrade in the last year or two, since I hear that all the bugs are gone now. I know there are lots of great benifits, any downsides? (from actual owners). thanks in advance

i have upsolute and im happy!!!!
im just upgrading to k24s and i have to pay $200 for the new file
the only think is if you change thinks(upgrades) on the car all the time
you have to send the ecu to upsolute for reprogram(free you just pay the shipping).
I Think so far few of members they have upsolute.
Good Luck,
Bill from Massachusetts

Default upsolute

Rene at upsolute ROCKS. I had the k16 then switched to the k24 program and both are great. Other than a stutter at about 5K rpm's sometimes but I think that because I am running the beru plugs, I am going to the Bosch ld6 and will let you guys know.

I have it on my 2002 TT NO PROBLEMS. I did a friend of mines 01 TT WITH tip, he had some idiot lights go on after a few months. I sent the computer back, they reflashed it and NO PROBLEMS since. That was almost 5 YEARS ago!!!!

I am picking up a 03 TT Tip on Tuesday and the first mod is going to be a UPSOLUTE chip...

GOOD LUCK,
ROB

Interesting so far: 6 satisfied actual Upsolute owners. Anyone with a first hand bad experience since 2004 when the upsolute tt flash programs were supposedly sorted out??

I had in installed on my 2004 within the first year, at approx 10K miles. I had idiot lights twice during the first 6 months - both attributed to the MAF sensor which was replaced both times by the dealer under warranty. 30K miles now with no problems since. The chip was never reflashed from the beginning.
PS. I asked for and got the original chip which I kept for possible future use.

For the Original Poster
Here is my dyno for the Upsolute 1 bar program that I had earlier this year before moving to the Protomotive package
I had EVOMS DV's, Fabspeed Moderate, and EVOMS V-Flow
Dynoed in RWD
I did occasionally experience a ABS/PSM light at 5th or 6th gear WOT pulls
They have a file revison to remedy that
Good bang for the buck.
Disregard the 494.34 run as that was just an overlay comparison to a EVO Stage 4 kit.
