Actually if you can get instant spooling then you can use bigger turbos without worrying about lag.

Wow Chad, an anti lag system! I guess that is why I came up with a reference to the Ford Focus WRC car when I searched for Martinit 247.

Here is an interesting thread from another forum relating to the development of an anti lag system.

I assume you are putting the injectors in the intake manifold and will retard spark when they operate. I suppose you require the dedicated injectors since you are using the OEM ECU which does not have anti lag functionality.

Or, did you find injectors that can live within the exhaust system?

I still think that cryo bulb in the airflow is a red herring - unless you have increased the diameter of the pipe - the bulb has reduced the cross sectional area quite a bit - even though it is tear drop shaped, it must be quite a flow restrictor.

But hey, theory schmeory - the numbers will tell the story!!

Good luck

I suppose the injectors used in a diesel or gas direct injection system would be up to the task of injecting fuel into the exhaust/turbine inlet.

Heya CJV,

Niice They look buff too... I am the man that breaks mounrs and bushings for a living.. I'll go early on Wednesday next week and drop by their place since it's close... I like the look of these.

PS I'm going to that BAR Rennlist drive on Sunday. You mentioned you might be down for that last time?

This is for you! The first two pics show the new and modified motor mounts. The third pic shows a stock motormount. These are not hard to change and relatively inexpensive.

I had the same setup on my M3 (injector spraying into the intake side of the turbine) and over time I experienced "ponding" of fuel in the bottom of the intercooler. Not a big issue but on really cold days I would get a lot of black smoke out of the exhaust during warm up. Since then we relocated the extra injector into the throttle body and switched to a Variable Vane Turbo (VATN) that produces "zero lag". Works great!

By the way, I applaud the cryo setup! That is really thinking outside the box.

Makes sense... plus who's gonna keep up with you lol.... Hopefully see you Wednesday. I'm almost hoping for another week's delay so I can get my new turbos in

sharkster,

I missed your BAR Drive comment. My car was suppose to be ready however the cyrogenic system had two problems which were discovered when S Car Go reviewed the work. These items are being rectified. I don't expect to have the car until after Wednesday's (July 9th) dyno at RPM Dyno and acceleration tests at Infineon with Dave Colman.

I hate the delay with all the sunshine, however I want everything completely checked out before I pick up the car.

Alot more resolute about those statements there Chad. " We WILL meet at...."

"The car WILL be ready...."

The oil tanks were for the smoking side, right?

And the thermotech wrap - I assume that some simple paint or Dye? Its usually a cream yellow.
