At 600 AWD HP there is no question you need to open up the motor and secure the rods, headstuds, valve springs etc. You are asking for a real problem if you don't. 500-520 RWHP is not that hard to achieve peak numbers in this area and be safe. I ran about 30K miles like this. However 600 crank verses wheels is a whole another story. Do not be fooled there is no free lunch. If you are looking for that kind of power a budget of 40K at least will be needed. My car with all the mods on my AWD dyno hits 592 AWHP. That is a doable, but tall order. Then you have a clutch to deal with and so on.
Look at the goals that you are trying to achieve then map out a plan with a tuner that best suits your goals, objectives and can deliver. Guys like my self who drive these every day rain, snow or shine can tell you how each kit responds and what issues may or may not come up during ownership of certain HP levels.

Yes that should be fine... I ran the IA/EVO stage IV mods for over 20K with no problems at all... That kit is close to what you are going to run... Maybe a little stronger... (I never dyno'd it to know for sure)..
It really depends what tuner you go with also... There is no "magic" number.... Some tuners use a lot of boost to achieve their results.... Some use less... The more boost you throw at it the more stress on the internals....
Stock clutch is fine at those levels... You can change it if you want...

Markski ran your same kit (FVD with race K-24's) for alot of miles.
No problems, he can tell you actual dyno, quarter mile times, etc, etc.
should be a "nice" set-up, nothing too radical but plenty fast.

Okay I understand that stock diverter valves are crap so they definitely need to be changed, but what is wrong with stock boost hoses are they weak and dont the turbos come with upgraded wastegate springs?

The stock engine case is very good and doesn't have any issues till past 700HP After that I would recommend shuffle-pinning the case and a line bore..

Nick, the stock hoses are rubber and on modded engines with increased boost a known weakness for this car. Search the topic you will see many of us with horror stories of the hoses blowing. The upgrade is expensive silicone and worth it. As for the waste gate springs, again made to hold certain pressures. With modded cars and increased boost (0.7 to now 1.2) the factory springs dont do it. My last suggestion (I am no expert, only someone who runs his car hard at the track every month and wants hp and reliability) in a modded car is to upgrade your fuel pressure regulator, again for many of the above same reasons. The actual experts can agree or disagree with my recommendations and if so they can explain and we will both learn some more. My recommendations I feel on this board are the standard accepted ones that I have learned from the members of this forum. That last sentence is a good one. You have the ability to tap the knowledge and experience of all before you make any mistakes yourself!!! Aint this forum great!!
