Default K24 Turbo Upgrade

KKK K24 Turbo upgrade for your Porsche 996 Twin Turbo, X50 or GT2 is now available from Vivid Racing. These REAL KKK turbos are sold as a pair. These turbos are a direct installation in replacement of your factory turbos. These K24 turbos are much larger then the factory K16 turbo. The K24 Turbos can handle 650+ horsepower. Unlike most turbos on other vehicles, you will not sacrifice low end horsepower or torque, however gain a larger amount in the mid range and top end. PM FOR SHIPPED PRICE!!!!!

If you are looking to go the K16 upgraded turbo way PM me for a price on thoes. What ever you need we will make sure to provide a competetive price to make you happy!

This seems incomplete, misleading and/or wrong. Maybe I'm mistaken,
but it seems to imply that KKKs have ball-bearings, but I think they don't.

Are these stock K24s, or modified to have ball-bearings? What does the
'REAL' mean? As opposed to fake? The post implies that a K16 owner
would simply swap these new units in. I think we all know that the car
would need a complete reprogramming after any change of turbo behavior...

When saying real we are implying that they are not rebuilt and are brand new from the factory. You will need an ECU remap after you bolt these on. I apalogize I had mixed up my turbos you are correct they are not Ball bearing.

OK, understood. So these are stock standard K24 turbos.
Then, these are not for a GT2 or X50, because those cars
come with a K24 already. What is the upgraded K16 you
referred to?
thanks,
Joe

Stage 2 K16's along with Stage 3, 4, and K27 Hyflows and Hyflow "S" are my marketing trademarks. I need some clarification as to what you are selling vs representing.

K24s will not support 650HP. Sorry, they just can't do it. Also there are only 2 of us authorized to sell the Hybrids Stage2s. Please clarify what you are selling here.

Stephen remember our chat on the phone? When it rains it bloody pours. Not this stuff all over again... The members on here deserve better

K24s or Kevin's Stage II's are used in packadges for 550 to maximum (and on 100 octane at that) 600HP. K24s from the factory if they are "real" as implied are not ball bearing.

Fortunately there are enough folks to police the postings and the rest of us just wait to see what the H*ll is going on. Happy holidays!
