Drop Links
Anyone have a source for a set of curved drop links that will work with my GT3 front sway bar?
Spring is almost here and first thing I want to do is get rid of this damn clunking in the front end.

What kind of clunking are you getting? What endlinks are you using now? Also see this thread:

I had the same problem. Drop links were hitting the shock towers at full lock. I changed back to OEM drop links (keeping the GT3 adjustable sway bar) and it's been fine.

David - You're using the OEM drop links with the GT3 swaybars on a 996TT and everything is working fine? That sounds great! What's the negative? Sounds too good too be true! Why doesn't everyone just do this then as opposed to hunting the illusive after market curved drop links?

I have GT3 front and rear sway bars. The front drop links would hit the shock towers at full lock. When I went to a Porsche dealer to tech the car for a DE, they noticed the wear on the shock towers and would not pass the car. The mechanic replaced the drop links with the original ones from the car, retaining the adjustable bars. The OEM drop links are not as stout as the GT3 drop links but I figured they were OK for Porsche, they would be OK with me. They have been fine. I did 3 DEs with them last year.

Just my 2 cents....yes it's true the front OE DLs can be used with the GT3 sways, H&R Sways, etc....downside is they are not adjustable.
If you are **** about setting your ride height, rake, then corner balancing.....idealy it's great if all 4 corners (or at least 2 of 4) are adjustable...to set w/o any load.
Not as stout ...come-on, they look like wires compared to S-car-go or TRG....mind you, I did say they'd 'work'.

The down-side to using the stock units is they are prone to snapping if used in roadcourse applications... I've broken several. I use the TRG units now and wouldn't consider putting the stock units on any track driven Turbo. Nikkolaki, I'd use the TRGs or the Tarreds. Can't recommend anything with "Agency power" on it. That junk is, well, junk.
