Default REVO

Hi All, I'm from the UK and I have to say your Forum is pretty good compaired to UK forums for info and chat, etc.

Anyway, I have a 996TT 2001, and I'm trying to find out if anyone is running Revo Software in a 2001/02/03/04 standard Turbo! On the Revo website it says for Applications 2004 Cab/X50 2003/X50 2004 only but no other Applications!!! Surely it must be the 2004 Cab Appication!

My previous car was an Audi RS4 (dont think you have them in the States!) It was outputting 470bhp with Revo and a performance Exhaust System and I have to say Revo is superb!!!

Many Thanks

Steven

Hi, not familiar with unichip!!!

I'm only interested in Revo as you can't detect it!, you can return to stock at anytime!, you can custom programme within cars limits!!!

I would go to say that Revo is one of the best programmes going! as long as they do it for the 996TT!

Does anyone out there have Revo in there standard 996TT?

As far as I know GIAC is the first and carries the first dealer network that flashes. We flash ECU in house or on location. In fact my car was flashed for the shootout in the parking lot. Flashing is aviable for both the 996 and Boxster as well as we offer from 490HP upgrade to 850HP upgrade. All Flashed.

Is ChipSwitch available yet for flashed ECUs (rather than chipped ECUs)?

Call Hergesheimer

They are a REVO dealer now and have installed on a few Turbo's in SoCal. They may be able to give you some contacts to see if the customers like it.

Ask for Mark or Laura. Tell them Jake sent you.

The chip switch is not officially released. Look for it in the next 30 days or so.

As far as the cost, drop me a email directly. I can discuss that with you. We are a flash loader facility.

If Revo is flashing I apologize. I had a customer a couple of weeks ago that sent us his ECU as a Revo dealer told him that they could not flash as of yet and would be able to in a couple of months. This was on a 03 TT.

Stephen - the 30 day chip switch you refer to is it for flashloaded or 'chipped'/soldered ECUs?Also, does GIAC have any products for the Lambo Gallardo? It is an Audi after all

Getting a Gallardo, msindi? There was one at the last track event I went to, and he was tearing it up in the rain. A friend of mine went along as a passenger and was blown away by the car's capabilities.

Nash - I wish...besides, I am a Porsche fan
It is a Q for a friend in Dubai who wants to get software but is worried about warranty (I would be too with a price like the Lambo's!!)...
He is clueless about tuning/mods so asked someone slightly less clueless - me
