Default Can’t Start Car After Cleaning Airfilter

Dear Members,

I have just cleaned the K&N air filter of my 2002 996 turbo, but it won’t start after replacing everything back. I thought that it was another battery dead which was replaced months ago, so I took the battery out and charged it fully. However the car won’t start even with a full battery. Could anyone suggest what’s wrong with my car.

Thanks,
Calvin

All you did was remove the airbox and clean the filter?

The starter turn and no ignition? Check fuel pump operation! Fuse C4?

A little more info might help. Turn key and nothing? Turn key and dash lights but no crank? All the aforementioned work but just keeps cranking?

MAF reconnected correctly, as asked before, is a good question.

Hey dude, your 996 T-shirts are the bomb. When will they be back in stock?

Ya I need to retake inventory. I've got quite a bit on the shelf. I need to make sure what is on the shelf matches what the website is saying. The blue "996 headlight" shirts went fast. They are gone.
PM me what you are looking for and I will double check.... I don't want to hijack this guy's thread.

Thank you for your advice guys. I’ll try the reconnection of MAF sensor first.
