Hi. Were rain sensing wipers an option in 2001? If so, how can I tell if my car has them? I need to replace the shield and while I have been looking for a sensor around the rear view mirror, I can seem, to tell either way.

Yes. Option code P11.

If you have rain sensing wipers the stalk on the right of the steering wheel will have an additional position available. From "OFF" you select down to turn on the rain sensing system.
