Observed Fuel Economy in 996TT
Just wondering what your observed fuel economy is on your Porsche.
For the Turbo coupe, the official # from Porsche N.A. is 15 city/22 hwy.
I haven't really measured the difference between city vs. hwy, but my trip computer has been pegged steadily at 17.3mpg for the past 5,000+ miles.
How does this compare to others?

Last tankful - 17.8 mpg combined city and 10 mile highway commute. I did see as high as 26 mpg on long cruises at 80 mph with the cruise control set.
Considering the weight and performance of these cars, I think it's pretty reasonable.
Cheers,

Im not sure how this thing measures MPG....most of my driving is in the city but even after a 40 mile highway drive the thing reads the same....think it may have a problem...

How the heck are you guys driving to get such bad mileage? If I drive as crazy as I can (doing my best to avoid being caught), my worst mileage is around 13-14 mpg!!
