I have a friend who has a place in Daytona Beach and he raves about how good the fishing is - something I would most certainly like to do more of. Or even have a boat for that matter.

I agree, have owned couple of boats. Selling them both were two of the happiest days of my life. I still own one, a 1953 Century Cruiser. All wood, needs a restoration. I am dreading every moment of the process, maybe I will do myself a favor and make a bonfire out of it instead. Might be just as satisfying.

I’m the opposite, I’ve had great luck with all the boats I’ve owned. Always stayed away from boats made of wood though, I can only imagine what kind of hell that must be...

you guys obviously know the two happiest days of owning a boat....day you get it and day you sell.
I am thinking of picking up an older Ski Nautique as family/ski boat.
