Default Mobil1 5w50 for $5.99/qt at NAPA

Have been using this in my turbo, 991s and a couple M5s for several years and when on-sale it's way cheaper than the 10w60 BMW specs.

Additional savings: Mobil 1 has a $17 rebate on 5 qts or more....4 rebates per family. Just Google Mobil 1 rebates.

I now do a mix of Mobil 1 (and got this at napa) and Redline, 50w50, recommendation by @Kevin I just did a Blackstone OA last OC using Mobil 1 10w40 and it was flawless. I can tell though that my oil consumption is lower using the 50 over the 40. Will keep up the OA to build a trend.

Looks like NAPA is NOT an official retailer, and thus, not eligible for the additional rebate... unless I'm not reading correctly. NAPA is not listed on the site.

FYI, this is NOT Kevin's recommendation; to blend Mobil with Redline. It's NEVER advised to blend different manufactures oils, since different additive packages fight each other. Stay within the same brand if you want to blend different viscosities.
