looking forward to them, only concern for street use is potential fast wear
they fit very wide so consider running 235 for front

Falken's are a great tire but if the Yoko's have decent longevity I know what I'm running from now on... the directional stability/response is lightyears better, my only complaint of the Falkens

Noted. I will be curious to hear about longevity - I haven't had a set since I ran them on an Integra R, 032Rs, and I really liked them, they were not the longest lasting tire though, even on such a light platform as the R.

My bad, I misread the question to be 19".

GT2 fender liner brackets are more like $75-95 a side, not $25. I'm running 245/315 Toyo R888R's, they seem to be fine. Nowhere near as sticky as a Hoosier.

Week the car is sitting on 235/325 PS2 now and a 19” combo so hopefully the 245/315 NT will be similar but all of this is still sight unseen- hoping to change that ASAP!!

The 245/40 and 315/30 18" Toyo R888R's should fit with only minor fitment adjustments at the rear (use the GT2 fender brackets as mentioned above). Hoosiers in the same size are no problem up front, but get a bit tight in the rear if you are lowered too much. I previously had rubbing on the inside and outside of the rear tire when using Hoosiers but I raised the car a little and trimmed the inside part of the rear fender to clear it and now have no issues.

will see how treadlife and heat cycling is as I get more time on them

It's still winter where you are, how can you measure their effectiveness?

definitely early season but still having some nice ~10*C days; it's pretty clear cut the a052 is a lot stickier/better response, not really a competition from what I've felt so far

Sorry Rob, I corrected myself - 008Rs were a high school tire; the ones I ran on the Integra were 032Rs.

Ain't much tread there at all... I had the Falkens in a sprinkling of snow the other day (West Coast - very rare..., and wow they sucked. Are you thinking the 052s are going to be good for 5 - 6kms?

haha ya the Falkens are pretty terrible in snow, great in rain but no snow lol
life will depend on amount of track time, solely street it would be great to get ~8k kms or so but will see, if I get life in that range I'll be sticking with them I think... the stickier the tire I run the longer life I get, guess not always in slip angle as 'harder' tires are

I had 10 AutoX events and 2 track weekends on the AD052 last year in stock sizes for reference. Very pleased with the result. Great confidence inspiring tire. Excellent grip and low temp operation for AutoX, with good resonse when they get hot as well for track. I ran them on Mid Ohio and Indy. Indy is pretty hard on tires. I also run these on the street and they are a non issue. I prefer the feel to the AD08Rs (quick response). I have about 5k street miles on them and they are not yet even to the wear bars. Havent driven them in the rain, so I cant help there. I imagine it would be a little sketchy. They certainly dont wear as well as the AD08Rs that I was using before, however the grip is MUCH greater as you would expect. The Treadwear ratings are laughable just like RE71R. Tirerack had a pretty dramatic decrease in price on these. I paid almost 1.5k per set last year when they were released, and now they are 1.1k.
