Default P0300, 01, 02, 03 error codes

After 3 years with my '02 TT I don't freak out when I pop a code. However, the past two weeks I've popped the P0300-3 codes twice, always with a short burst of blinking CEL, followed by steady CEL. I haven't had a misfire for 2.5 years, since my last tuneup, so I'm a bit concerned. Especially by the blinking CEL.

I'm going to talk to my indy about it but would appreciate any advice.

not even knowing what those codes are at the moment(?) i'd bet you just need to r&r the plugs and do a bit more pro-active ( well, it WOULD have been *pro-active* ) maintenance. if the car is tuned? your plugs are FRIED by now, for sure. tune it up and dollars to doughnuts.. problems solved. GL with it.

oil, plugs ( coils, how long has it been? ).

The codes say one bank is misfiring. Along with checking plugs/Coils check your cam solenoid brackets too. It could also be a vacuum leak on that side.

How many miles since your last tune up?

What is entailed in replacing the cam solenoid brackets?

My car does not have a tune (yet).

It's been 16K miles since I replaced the plugs & coils (2.5 years).

I realize I didn't provide enough info, sorry.

The solenoid brackets are near the middle spark plug in each bank. They are held in place by two bolts.

if you have "cam position sensor" cels, that should show in the result of the OBD reader. at least they did for me. simple replacement. at 16k miles i wouldn't suspect plugs and coils as per my earlier post. GL. as to "brackets"? never had that one come up.

Another thing to consider, was any work done on the car just prior to the codes showing up?

2 months ago I replaced the wiring harness to rid the car of the ABS/PCM code.

I don't think that work could be related to this current issue.
