assistance with repairing 996 top
My top need repair. I replaced the hydraulic fluid on my own but in the process some metal framework was damaged. Now the joint where glass back window on the right inserts into the convertible framework has come loose and does not allow the top to open all the way. Anyone know a good shop that can repair this or at least eyeball it? I am in the Pleasanton area in Northern CA. Livermore dealer said everything with the top was ok when I took it in for my yearly service so prefer not to go back to them.

When I lived in the BA and had problems with my top, Stead Porsche used Armand's Auto Upholstery Inc in Walnut Creek exclusively for all their top and upholstery work. They did an excellent job on repairing my cab top twice while under warranty.
