Default Winter Sleep = Spring Squeak

The squeak has actually been slowly progressive. However during this cold winter, I have not driven The Ghost as much. I really noticed it on a windows down drive this last weekend when it was warm. The right front is worse than the left front. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance - KC

Probably needs to stretch its legs... I think a track weekend would loosen up the joints

The sound reminds me of my old mattress by the time I hit my senior year of high school. She is in dire need of a spirited drive to loosen things up.

I would undo your sway bar and lube the inside of the support bushing first. If that did not do anything i would use a syringe with a needle and inject gear oil into all your suspension joints with a rubber boot (strut rods, ball joint and tie rod end) . That squeek sounds like a ball joint in particular. The right thing to do is replace them but the old lube trick is a good diagnostic and can prolong the life of a suspension joint significantly. Does not sound like a spring to me but you could test that by spraying WD40 on the spring ends and try again to see if it goes away. My old C4 did that when it was hot and dry and it turned out to be the sway bar bushings.

Thank you. My indy mentioned lubing the sway bar. I'll give that a try.

A simple shot of WD40 on the sway bar bushing may be all that is needed for diagnostic. if it goes away that is your problem. it will be back though if you don't take it off and fully lube it.

Don’t forget to lube the drop links also.
Your lower ball joints are steel ***** in plastic sockets. When they get dry they sound just like that. A few CCs of ATF will refresh the lube and quiet them down for a long time. I have used a syringe to poke through the boot and add the ATF. YMMV

Top mounts have rubber bits that dry out and creak. Second guess as mentioned is sway bar bushings but my bet is top mounts.

Though if it's just bushings? Cheapest thing you'll ever r&r on the car. +1 on some wd or silicone spray. If it stops for a cpl days and returns? Replace the bushings
