Who gives a sh&t about wear…..these seats (and cars) are supposed to be used!
Agree. Love the recline function too! But put me in the "care about wear" camp. I use all my cars (ferrari has 70k. gt3 has 80, and m3 has 275k!). But there is no reason a car that is used can't be clean! I guess I'm just ocd about seat/bolster wear...just drives me crazy!

I’m wildly OCD so I care about wear, but my GT4 conditioned me to the acrobatics required for scuffless ingress and egress. It’s a workout, but when you get it down, you can manage to basically never touch the bolsters.

Agree with being fastidious about keeping your car clean and in good shape, I meant you can't let the fact that things get "used" ruin your experience. I drive every car I have and always will.....happily made home depot runs in GT3's and V8V's before I got my truck.

Use of the threshold is good for egress. That and getting your butt off the seat during rotation out of the car.

With that said, if someone wants my oem 996 perlon buckets they can have them for 16k! (as that's what it would take to pry them from my hands...one of my favorite parts of the car!).
15, 995 for mine!!!

I just sold $12k worth of mostly unused skydiving nylon as I simplify, perlon may be next?

Ryan Friedman bidding on this car rubbed me the wrong way...

In his defense, it appears to be a nice example!

56,279 MILES

$105,000

I bought the car 7/01/2021 from a broker in Orlando who was selling it for the owner on consignment. My intention was to make it track ready and run it at PCA events in the East. It had 55,792 miles on it at that time. I drove it from Orlando to my home in Fort Myers, FL. (180 miles). I scheduled an appointment with AutoQuest MotorSports in Fort Myers to get the coolant lines pinned. During the time they had the car, I suffered a stroke and for the safety of others on track, I made the decision to retire from my track days.

I put the car on my lift, fixed the alternator than quit working when they re-installed the engine, and haven't driven it other than around the neighborhood occasionally.

I love the car, and think it would be a great track car. I just can't justify it for the street.

Google the VIN and read the back story on it in pretty good detail.

That seems to be the name of the game, bid them up, list high and keep the prices high. Like pumping and dumping stocks.

Although in comments he claimed that he was bidding because he "liked" the car...suggesting he was going to put to personal use. We shall see if it goes up for sale on their site soon.

Friedman, Zwwck, and Grand Prix are all kind of the same. They ask about 50% more for the car than it’s really worth and they sit on it for a year. I’m not sure what kind of business model it is, but that’s what they do.

Friedman has a good reputation from what I understand, but it appears the buying practices differ a bit from say Zweck. I can't say enough good things about Suneal at Zweck...and I think if you dig deeper, you'll see their model is a bit different.

I don't want to bad mouth Friedman, business is business (supply and demand), and like most, they are aware of the natural supply issues with the 996.2.

Biting my tongue moving forward, but it transcends into my business (real estate) too -- which just got a shake up (thanks Missouri courts) -- generally speaking, I am not a proponent of egregious fees for limited services.

When you say buying practices for Friedman do you mean how particular they are when buying? Or their offers?
