My first FD back in 99 was black w/ tan interior and it's not a bad combo. Some how I think I'll be able to overlook the tan and it won't be a big deal to me. It's actually cool having the handles, center consoles etc....the ext color and with the black seats there's enough black inside that the tan won't be too overwhelming.

You know you've owned a lot of FDs when you've purchased 5 from 3 different people in this thread

Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting it on track to test it out. Hopefully it's a good one

Very nice car you bought there... I'm not a black car fan in general, after owning a black 996TT, but they do look sharp. And that one has LOTS of goodies already in place.

My oldest has owned five different FDs. I love the look of the car, but never could warm to the powerplants in them. Go figure... I love daily driving my 1990 Turbo Miata, though.

Yep I had it out with Chin recently and it should be good but need to have it professionally aligned etc... to be sure it's straight. If it's all good I have some improvements in mind for the winter that should make it more reliable and a little faster.

I plan to drive the GT3 to the track on 888s and do the DE thing and trailer the FD to TT events and go for some fast laps.

I like the road warrior look so I can't go wrong with black but if you're a neat freak it will clearly drive you nuts. I'm hoping it's a turn key car and I have my fingers crossed

The rotary isn't for everyone but it's a great power plant when properly set up.

I DD a twin turbo FD and it's easily my favorite car to zip around town in. It's a 2800 lb car with 300 rwhp, looks great, handles great and never breaks what more can you ask for

Happy to hear it's back in action and it wasn't a total loss. I didn't make it to the track once last year due to complications with my car

Hopefully, we'll be able to catch up a couple times this year
