This is a perfect example of exactly what I don't want Wrong color, wrong miles (for price), wrong options, no mods etc...... If the car had 4k miles on it I'd consider it if it wasn't red or yellow.

Anyway, I'm not quite done. Still have the adjustables and cup wing to go, and only then will I be ready to move on.
From what I've seen over the last few years on this forum it's actually not that hard to find you just have to be ready to pull the trigger.

With 40k miles and lots of track time 55k unless there's tons of extras etc.....

Mooty - you got another one to sell? Can I get in on this? 6GT3 withdrawals are starting to bother me!
Alex,
Yep and I'm still kicking myself. It was just hard to justify having 200k plus wrapped up in automobiles. I think at that time I had the RS, and 4 or 5 FDs. Currently I'm down to 3 FDs and that's it.

I'm sure you are missing that car BIG TIME!

Mooty,
Thanks for the info and that car is indeed hardcore and I'll contact the seller.

Good luck Fritz!

I go back and force a bit. The new track rocket has proven to be pretty quick. But at the same time the old 312 was pretty freaking cool.

I'm obviously all over the map as well; should I get a cup, a GT3, maybe nothing at all and keep tracking the FD exclusively, hell even a lotus or corvette can cross my mind from time to time WOW.........it's some serious craziness/madness for sure.

Glad the new BMW is fun and we'll have to hook up at a tarheel and toe event next year.

Problem; cup car price for street built race car is hard to justify or in other words in my book a cup is the better move for many reasons.

Know the feeling too well. You forgot to throw in a sport racer in to the mix (Stohr, Radical). So many options, so little time and money.

Agreed.

Amazing isn't it, per the add, "$75k in mods... whole car for sale for $65k".

Link says car is SOLD. Is that old or did you strike a deal? I like the cage in that car...

Trying to stay relevant to the topic, how would maintenance costs between the street engine and the cup engine compare?

Also, I'm guessing the Cup cannot be registered for street driving, so that might be something to consider.

Seeing that forged car sold really ticks me off. I PMed them months ago about them possibly selling it and never heard back.

75k in mods might be a slight exaggeration.

After emailing Sharif he updated it. Again for 65 or 67 I'll take a cup over that car anyday. There's a point where the cup is the better move unless the car is really inexpensive. Once you take the glass out of a street car etc... you just devalued it significantly in my eyes.

As far as I know there's no real difference if de-tune the cup some but clearly if you leave it at the 380 hp range on 100 octane etc..... it will not last as long.

Timing is everything. Alex's old car was seriously a beast priced really well

I have my eye on a couple which are about 50% of what I really want but I'd like this one to be a keeper so I'm trying to remain patient which for me is not easy and I really would like to attend the winterfest event at sebring so I may just start lobbing low ***** in all directions.

I am confused as well. Espescially seeing how many of these trackday toys are going in the $50s with less.
