That's just PEAK power. It's only half the story. The 996 cams allow you to get a better low/mid range. A lot of the 997 generation's power is based on the better heads, more aggressive cams, and better exhaust.

It's rated at 369 lb/ft (500 N/m) @ 5000 rpm. You get 339 lb/ft @ 5750 with the RS 4.0. This car is a torque monster!
