Car looks great as always..

The aerokit bumper has a different part number than the oem GT3 IIRC, and probably has a small difference from the oem, but can't remember which one is it. Will have to check my files.

Did you measure the LSD for preload when finished? I am curious for the number.

And sorry to say this mate, but why on earth did you spent your money on the IPD plenum?

John says no, but I had one on my last Porsche and liked it, so I decided while the motor was out to do it (with the 997 TB) again.

So do they have custom fitted hoses? Are they rubber or silicone? Any pics of the hoses?

I don't think there is anything special about the replacement hoses used; just stock.

This does not compute

Scott, why the Water Wetter if you have welded fittings?

OH, and your car rocks!

Nothing with PAG/PCNA computes when it comes to parts pricing

I'm in aviation, and the exact same statement applies. Parts are priced beyond comprehension.

Just wondering though, if it's such a similar part, wouldn't you expect "some" sort of rationale? I don't know, maybe and extra rib somewhere, or a little something???

But I know, sometimes there are much cheaper alternatives "justified" by very small differences or suppliers.

$1395 according to the link. (btw, is your new avatar some new stripper project?)
Back in March '05, I had the RS bumper installed on my car, $1,100, vents and screens included. Perhaps pricing has changed significantly since then??

Yup. All the nice things we want for our cars have gone up in price significantly. Around double for some of them. Seats and RS wing are two examples.
