It's going to a good home, it will be used for it's intended purpose.

Bawahhhhh !!!! Sad day indeed. My car will be buried with me. So what are your future plans? Getting a more track focused caged car? Mike

^^^ this

...is good news. Much better than a fella who takes a track car and turns it into a Starbucks cruisemobile.

Yes, purchaser (who was a great pleasure to deal with but who I will allow to identify himself) is an active Rennlister and racer. The car's first stop is at Miller Motorsports Park where the tranny will be pulled and, I believe, re-geared and possibly different LSD. I don't think it will ever see a coffee shop!

As for me... on the fence... considering a few options at this point..... 997.2 GT3, 997.1 RS, 996 Cup, or perhaps (perhaps!) a little time to re-evaluate my priorities. If its not a race car it will have to have A/C this time so I can actually use it a little more. Money in the bank staring at me never seems to last very long and I don't like the empty place in the garage where a Porsche should be so... we'll see.

Todd, sad indeed, but good luck on whatever comes next. New owner is getting a great car. I was very close to putting that car in my garage on more than one occasion but the boss put her foot down on needing A/C.

You got a sweet car though and you HAVE TO listen to the boss if you want to stay in this game. Fortunately for me right now, the boss is liking the white 997.2 GT3 FS here on RL.

Sad day? I think not. Your boss likes white 7.2GT3s? My boss likes safe hatchbacks... Enjoy

Beyond sad! I got all choked up (dare I say shed a few tears) when DeMois Trucking picked up my GT3 to send off to Joe

At least I know she's being driven as she should be and Joe sends me updates like pictures and vids of a child growing up

The first stop is indeed Miller for gears and toughen up the LSD, few more HPs hopefully (exhaust, intake, software) and have Jeff's (owner #2) fancy clubsport kill switch installed, then setup for Hoosiers and off to do some laps NO coffee shops...especially with stiffer springs and Motons...you'd have to have an IV to keep it from spilling. The car will remain street legal...a little on the extreme side maybe
