Gold Crest Motorsports Coolant Fitting Repair + More!
First off, a HUGE thanks to Gold Crest Motorsports in Kennasaw GA! (link) Here are their Coolant Repair Fitting Pictures (link). Steve Cosgrove (link) was my contact and he was always patient and very helpful with all of my questions and lists of items that I wanted to add to the project, more often than not, at the last minute.
Here's the big stuff:
*** Hat tip to Dell for the heads up. This is actually a standard 996 Carerra 'Aero' bumper for thousands less than the factory GT3 or RS bumper, yet it still meets my needs. (Sunoast link)
A few pictures of what is visible
Previous clutch packs
Other small stuff done:
Still do to:

Saw the car this morning. Looks amazing! The work to make the vents is flawless. Was surprised to find that the Carrera AERO bumper was over $2K cheaper than the GT3 bumper and the same! Nice savings to put toward the other items.

Was advised by the shop that is wasn't truly necessary for my needs so I skipped it, and kept it simple; was told the hot air will still escape.
Thom, GC quotes $1500 for the whole package; motor drop, disassembly, weld, and reassembly (link), and for me, a 1 week turn around time.

Looks great and peace of mind on the coolant fittings when on track.
Did the 996 Carerra 'Aero' bumper come with the three line vents or did you put those in with screen?
Are the coolant fitting stock, just cleaned and welded?
Thanks,
Joe
