Default Nitto NT01 front size... 235 or 245?

Hello Illuminati.

I'm seeking your wisdom on front tire size for the NT01 variety.

Read up on the subject and I'm not fond of all the rubbing I hear of with the 245/40/18. Found only one post indicating preference for the 235/40/18.

What do you suggest, Gurus?

David

245 will rub only under full lock. 235 will not. I never cared and used 245 for the wider track. Your choice

Any issues with 8.5 wheels? I assume not.

255/35 is very nice and actually has smaller diameter than the 245/40.
8.5 is ok but 9 or 9.5 would be better. hardcore stuff

So, kind of on topic but no worries, I WILL do a search.

In the mean time, quick thoughts on the Nittos?

Was planning on MPSCs but limited to 235/40, 295/30.
Looked at Nittos because of this thread, and would prefer the available 245/40, 315/30.

Ran Cups last year and loved them. You guys like the NT01s?

I love the Nitto NT-01s. Great grip, longevity, and value.
