Does anyone have normal insurance that covers DEs?

I have learned that (in CA) Allstate, Mercury, State Farme and AAA all explicitly exclude on track driving of any sort from coverage

So what is everyone else doing for insurance?

Most of us self insure. You really shouldn't track a car that
a. is not paid off
b. you can't afford to push off a cliff.

Most if not all in CA exclude anything on a racing surface.

I think WSIB stopped doing track insurance. Try LockonAffinity.

Auto Owners Insurance is covering DE. My insurance agent is tracking his 996 Turbo.

i bought mine outright but want coverage

what i really want is a policy that covers it all, track only insurance is crazy expensive

A perk of being in North Carolina - by law they are not allowed to have any exclusions!

Track insurance is pricey, but did pay out for me when I had an incident in my M3

In NJ DE coverage PCA DE events included by High Point. Could it be stretched to non-PCA DE ? Perhaps

I have Travelers and they do not appear ro have an express track exclusion. (I'm in NY). When I asked my agent if I was covered on the track, he checked with Travelers and they said I may have trouble making a claim because it could be considered intentionally putting the car in harms way. I think this is a bit of a stretch for them to make that argument but it sounds like I'm in for a fight if I try to make a claim. I'd be curious to hear if anyone has actual experience with Travelers or any other company trying to deny coverage based on a similar argument.

I have homeowners, cars and an umbrella policy from Travelers. They cover my cars for DEs. No racing, time trials, etc. but if it is a club sanctioned DE then they are ok.

I like that one. Insurance Law varies by state. In Virginia, there is one policy used by all insurers. It is my experience that insurers like State Farm, Nationwide, and USAA have all paid claims at a Drivers Education events
