Hey Alex, the 8deg wing shims (painted black so no stupid looking orange) are in the glove box. Just so you know I added a gurney lip (GMG) on the wing and on the decklid, I noticed a real difference. The wing is currently trimmed out for minimum drag.

Vic, no worries. I didn't realize it makes that much difference with cup gears.

Kent said it snowed in Vegas yesterday (go figure!), but he's almost done with it!

Dell - thanks for the vote of confidence, still need to learn how to drive the car though!

I can tell you this....that is one WELL SORTED car you got there and it will provide many times over the amount of excitement and satisfaction that you could imagine!

We'll definitely hook up and I'd be happy to show you how to drive that car fast at our tracks (VIR/CMP/RdATL).

Thanks Dell, she's my pride and joy. A LOT of time and $ have been put in her to sort her out. Alex won't be disappointed.

I'm glad he has you as a resource, I'd support him if he was on the Left coast.

Eh? I can't find one at their site. Is/was it the Cargraphic lip?

They made it for me, it's CF and the weave matches the wing perfectly.

Sounds like the car is well sorted with most of the necessary mods. Get the dyno and get down to weight then get FAASST. It is always better to buy the car with the Mods in place saves big $$$$$.

Dell - I'll take you up on that! A good friend of mine, Tom Hart, drives one. Unfortunately, he let me try his car at VIR last time and the rest is history (plus he owes me 55 grand now!).

All that's left is to get it here and get it out on track!

Ah, now I see. It's his car that cost you 55K in buying one. I need friends like that that will pay for my addictions. Tom's a great guy. I have no doubt he'll cover the cost to buy Vic's car....

I won TTS in the Great Lakes region (mid-ohio) in 2008 and 2009 in a pretty stock 6GT3 but it was only because of scoring points all season. I could not compete with the C5/C6 Vettes at any track. The Vettes always seemed to have lots of problems so I came in 2nd and 3rd alot and always scored points. I always seemed to be a couple seconds behind the Vettes. I'm sure a better driver could get closer to them but they have torque and tires that are hard to deal with. They would run 295F/335R A6's with huge wings and just sail by me. They just stick like glue. Plus Danny Popp is not human, I'm convinced he is an alien.
