you'll have to wear a yellow suit at the track for it all to make sense.

Clutch is interesting, more of an on/off switch really. Car shudders when you try to just launch slowly (it adds to the mystique). Getting up on the trailer was fun.

I know that the radio works because I had it on for about 5 minutes.

Happy to report that the seats fit me perfectly. Very comfortable and the reach to the steering wheel is, well, perfect.

What I now need:

- Until very recently, the car had a cup tranny so at least the current gearbox is almost new. Unfortunately, the Guard LSD stayed with the other gearbox. Andrei... So once the stock LSD starts to act up, it'll be time to upgrade to cup or GT. Maybe R & P at the same time.
- Set of probably SRP pedals to help with the H & T. Just the standard will be fine
- 13mm ish spacers for the front so that I can use my 19" Ultraleggeras and have the proper GT3 offset, and maybe studs
- And maybe an RS wing But I'm broke

Previous owner is a RLer who I would like to thank for answering many of my questions before I made the move.

BTW, speaking of a garage queen... NOT. To quote the previous owner, "it has a nice track patina". LOL, now I understand.

Also, as a testament to the free-revving nature of the setup: 52,000 range 1 ignitions. Must be nice an loose by now

Be careful with it. It behaves a bit differently than your C2S. Take some time to learn what it's telling you.

Enjoy.
+1
Lots of TMP in my future (for those who don't know, it's a local twisty track with lots of runoff).

When I bought the car I wrote two words in red on the cover of my UCR logbook: RESPECT, PATIENCE

Congrats! That's quite the ride compared to your C2S... solid rear mounts, mono balled, toe links, SS lines, Brembo floaters, control arms with shims...

YEW HAAAAW!!!

You need a fire bottle. It looks like the exhaust is Fabspeed. Probably the whole setup from headers to cats to maxflo muffs.

ENJOY.

Francois show us a photo of your huge smile : )

Gongrats on the car, I honestly don't know what you were doing without a GT all this time. You are the perfect owner. Enjoy in good health : )

Yeah, was thinking of "NO PSM" but I'll have to think about it. Jelli bn was for my grand-daughter, who called the yellow one grand-pa's jelly bean car... Got to say though, that a silver jelly bean is kind of gross. Not to mention that they probably don't make them.

But now, I kinda like the irony as chopperzz mentioned above. Same reason I put a pink collar on my "killer" Jack Russel

'DONTLIFT'

Very cool. I remember all of those feelings earlier this year, and a big ditto on all of the new sounds; it was all a bit overwhelming at first.

So funny, that's my third key word: RESPECT, PATIENCE, DON'T LIFT

As for a license plate, it would be perfect for those in the know but I'm afraid it might be seen as a "go fast mantra" by the uninformed. Or as a taunt by the men in blue.
