Get her sorted out so we can hammer down soon.
That's what I plan on doing. I am going to leave the tires on the car so they can see what happened. I'll figure it out....it was just an expensive day yesterday as that was only one of a few things that cost me. The other thing is that I was having the time of my life with that car all day and really loving it. That just brought all the fun to a grinding holt.

I'll get it handled because that's what members of Team Hammer Down do!!

Now where is that membership card and decoder ring you promissed?

The problem is that tire rack only has rounded fronts and square rear 305's. Should I care?
Wish I could tell u- I guess u will find out : ). Only thing is round has a bigger contact patch which maybe in our cars our fronts need that like going with wider rims up front with wider tires. Mike

The odd thing is that lock to lock, the fronts are fine. Maybe a knat's *** of a rub at full lock but you can barely hear/feel it. The rears...not so much luck. I will try to post a picture of the tires today so you can see what happened.

Default pics of the tires

So here are the pics....Ugly, huh?

These are the pass. sides. The driver side only had the same thing, but not as severe.

See what I mean?

Wow!

With stock offset wheels and assuming the 315 Nt’s are not abnormally wider than other 315 tyres it would be impossible to do this damage even with fenders unrolled unless your camber is positive or toe is in degrees instead of minutes.
Check your alignment.
I am running super low rear with 315 PS2, 888, and have added 5mm spacers in the rear even in worst bump I ve been nothing touched.

Good luck

Also check your fenders from the inside at one of the edges where the metal starts to fold there is a chance that it forms a tip there which does this damaga to the tyre.

That is really bad. Isn't this car a CPO and you got the car with corded rears on the inside edge?

This doesn't sound right. I'm convinced you might have blown shocks or something similar -- it's not the tires. Almost everyone here has run 315 with no rubbing at all.

If I were you, I'd take this car back to the dealer and let them diagnose what is wrong with it instead of GMG or other speed shop -- whomever did the CPO inspection did not do a good job. Sorry to hear about your troubles

Mckenna Porshe supposedly did the CPO.....again, supposedly.

Yep, it's going back to them to figure it out and diagnose the problem. But you know what they will say, "That's not a stock size so we won't warranty it."

Nope...that was not a pot hole. I came up over a rise in the road way at an interesection and this was from the compression at the bottom of the back side. Yes, it was a slight rise and I was at about 40 when it happened, but the compression on the rear suspension was heavy, not horendous.

Nevertheless, i can't wait to hear their bull...

I run 315 NT01 with -2.5 camber, looks about the same ride height as your car without any problem. Are you running OEM wheel (11" ET63)?

at LS corkscrew, i get a very big compression going down the hill, i can hear it compress and maybe even rub, but nothing like yours tires. blown shock perhaps.

NT-01 315s with -2.0 rear camber. No rubbing and I've gone through at least 5 sets.

305 RA1 with taller profile, no rubbing.

The only time I've gotten any rubbing was on the fronts on the dip (what do they call that after the hairpin at Spring Mountain?) that was major compression and at that it was just a line on the surface, not sidewall action like these photos.
