Question Need some set up input/info/suggestions

Well, the 05 GT3 and I have been getting to know one another and I am learning her likes and dislikes. That being said, I now need to get her into the shop and addressed as far as suspension set up.

So it's now comes down to this.....What to get done first without going nuts.

The two things I am going to do at the minimum are: 1) a corner balance and alignment and 2) a new set of shoes, but I'm not sure which one's yet. I had good luck with Falken RT-615's on my other car, but not sure what they will do on this beast.

So what other goodies should I have done without going over board? What is truly needed on this car to enjoy it and get to know it well?

I have spoken with 911 by design, GMG and Stuttgart Performance and all have a different view.

How about...
Adjustible rear link kit?
Adjustible rear toe kit?
Two piece control arm with thrust arm bushings and monoball ends?
Adjust ride height to euro specs?
Which tires & sizes?
Shop choice?
Other suggestions?????

PS...what the hell are dog bones?

Toe link with bumpsteer adjust and locking plate is a must! regardless of your application.
You don't need the dog bones, monoballs and control arms unless you're a track junkey even then, I would go with Motons first before I take all the rubber out of the suspension

Toe links with locking plates are good. As Victor said, removal of other rubber isn't required unless you live at the track.

What are your driving goals with this car?

Street %?
Autox %?
Track %?

That will help determine alignment, ride height, etc.

Tires:
Street: Yoko Advan Neova AD08
Track: Stick with Yoko until you know the car better. Then start with Nitto NT-01 as a great introductory R-comp.

If you track, I would get on the Moton group buy.

Street 40%
Autox 5%
Track 60%

Yes, I know that's 105%......but that's how I roll!!
(Autox is a maybe)

Get em anyway, you'll thank yourself. your car will be in a different league on the track and still streetable if you turn them down.

You can drive your 40% street on the nittos if you drive to the track. If you're inexperienced at the track I would go with the yokos first. Like Allan said

I would get guard internals in LSD(u save ton of time with a nice LSD) after rear toe links. I would stick on stock suspension for now just to have some kinda baseline laptime when your comfortable with the car then moton it(u need monoballs at the rear once u get motons).I guess u have the usual safety stuff ie seats/bar/harness. If u don't have a Hans get one. Mike

Oh trust me, I am learning that one REAL fast.

Thanks for the input guys. I used to know my old cars well and could set them up easy...this thing is just a different beast so I need the help.

Again, appreciate it.
