Hoosiers

How do you compare grip to an A6? I use A6's for TTs and Qualifying now. Also the A6 falls off after 4 laps of a 3.1 mi course. Will the V710 hold up for a 30 min sprint race more like an R6? I'm looking for comparable grip to an R6 but with longer life.

Folks in my area think A6 is slightly stickier. I've never tried A6. I hear different things about V710 on the track. I've only tried them once on the track but they were a couple years old with plenty of autox runs on them and they were slippery. Give them a shot. They are amazing when new.

I'm on my 3rd set of Hoosiers and I'm getting 25-30 HC's with no significant drop in grip and very even wear. I've got -3 rear and -3.5 front camber and I haven't had to flip the tires. Probably helps that most of the tracking is at Mosport, and the Glen which are not particularly hard on the tires. My problem is the spinning of the Hoosiers on the wheels. I've tried everything to eliminate or minimize the problem (aquanet, dry mount, balance wheels, 3 different types of wheels) and still a problem Anyone having the same problem with the Kuhmos ?

i get 10HC on hoohoo i am laughing like hyena. you got 25hc!
i must be lucky. my tires rarely spin on wheels.
and when they do, they dont rotate too much.
and i dont feel them out of balance.
but i am also know to be able to produce very good lap times with tires that are flat spotted. they bounce around, i just ignore them. steering wheel is like a hand massager, i just hang on tight.
