Definitely curious why my tire spinning on the rims is so severe. The vibration is so bad that I can't see out any mirrors and it has frightened more than one passenger. I'm worried that I'm going to shake something loose on the car

i would choose toyo ra1 (or r888) against v710 tires for track but for auto-x v710 are great, they are very similar to A6 grip wise but will last longer.
camber wise I am now at -3f, -2.5r on v700 kumhos.

No videos of me on track, but I can say I'm definitely not a brake stabber. Definitely agree on the grip of the Hoosiers and I did consider the movement of the tires under braking theory, so I've marked the tires to check for movement, and it shows the fronts are rotating from braking (about 15 deg rotation) and the rears are rotating from torque (90+ deg rotation). Results confirmed from 3 different tests. Most of the movement seems to happen during the first session after mounting but they continue to move a little with each session. Sometimes gets to a point where they are in balance for a while but then it deteriorates. Major PITA. Talked to my race shop today and they say to mount but not balance then drive for one session (unbalanced) - then balance after the initial movement has occured. Works if you have multiple sets of wheels tires and don't mind changing wheels frequently. Fortunately I'm a wheel junkie (5 sets) so I guess I'm going to try that strategy next time. Can't be worse...

nice tire, very sticky but lasts 1/3 of what v700 tire lasts - not victoracer, one with v70a compound.

v710 is not anywhere close to A6 when both are new.

^Liar- u stab your brakes- just kidding : ). Neway grip levels so high on hoo hoos - I just wonder how the true racer guys alleviate the rotation esp on full slicks. I never had rotation on rcomps(well at least didnt notice it ie steering wheel vibration) but when I switched to Kuhmo's everything was fine at the track til I headed back home- my steering wheel was vibrating and to some degree my mirrors were vibrating but nothing that affected driving- just annoying. Looking forward to what u find out wih your R&D : ). Mike
