Just curious, are the ATE Cayenne rotors the only Cayenne rotors compatible with our cars? Or is that just the only tested brand? Searching for 2005 Cayenne rotors, there are a lot of them...

I have been looking at some possible replacements also after surfing web sites. 1st post in this thread lists Cayenne S as fitting. I see a set of Centric High Performance Cryogenically Treated Rotor - Slotted at Rock Auto for $141 that I'm tempted to try out. Their web site talks about cryo process, surface prep and balancing. I have been happy with them in my CRV. Figure it is worth a shot. Just got to get my car now... Getting picked up in a week or so in sunny CA to be delivered in NJ. My wife and I can't wait. Lou

I might be able to get you guys these at a deep discount.
Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo, Touareg V8, Touareg TDi, Audi Q7,
w/350mm disks.
Are you only interested in the ATE Power Disc (elliptical grooves) or the std. OEM smooth rotor ?

Slotted for me. By the way, Bill, the wheel studs that I got from APEX are just what I needed. They are holding up very well, and are the right size for both the CCW wheels and the BBS. Yours are the only ones that I could find that fit both wheel sizes.

Glad to hear it! We're designing even more. Should have studs to fit every Porsche by years end.

I'm up to 15 days on them and at $260.00 per pair, I might just change them out as part of routine maintenance. Very satisfied.

FYI guys....

Unfortunately the ATE rotors are only avail via special order through our main distributor. The price would be great but the lead time is unacceptable.

Any rotor for the early V8 Cayenne's should fit. I have a set of OEM here in Denver available, but probably not worth shipping vs. a local sale. They also don't have the tapered screw hole.

look at post #124 above... oh heck I'll just report

Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo, Touareg V8, Touareg TDi, Audi Q7, w/350mm disks.

That should be the complete list of comparable vehicles.

Yeah, bummer. How about this instead: http://www.zeckhausen.com/Porsche/Cayenne.htm

Cayenne with 350mm (13.8") front rotors slotted:

Front 350mm x 34mm 1-piece vented rotors: $186 Each
Rear 330mm x 28mm 1-piece vented rotors: $124 Each

I bought a set of these for the rear of my Audi and have been happy with them. At least the slots don't go right to the edge!

edit: I found the fronts for $111.79 here: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...33090SL-115128

Mine just arrived from Tire Rack. ~$290 after shipping and tax. Took about 10 days to get to me.

Will post update after I use them.

I bought a set of these months ago and recently put them on in the middle of the day at a time trial at Spring Mountain. After bedding them in, they worked fine. The counter sink hole that is missing for the philllips head screws is such a minor issue and you certainly can't beat the price.
