Just remove the 2 prong rivets and that's it( 2 piece- just remove the top piece( the base is the the spacer to lock in spoiler to lip). Ne reason to remove it? Mike

Is there enough room to remove it w/o elevating the front end?

No need to lift the car, you just have to be good with your hands, feeling around underneath for the rivets. Mine was on VERY securely. After removing the plastic rivets, I used a long bladed exacto knife slipped in between the bumper and the splitter to cut the double sided foam tape. To reinstall you'll need to replace the tape, which you can get at Home Depot. The tape comes in 1" wide rolls, so I cut it lengthwise down to 1/2". Worked great and more that sturdy using 1/2" wide tape.

Arg! Never use a knife! Go to your local music store and buy a thin guitar string (0.012") and use that like a shig wire by pulling it from both ends as it passes between lip and lower body of the car's nose.

Glass shops use the same technique to safely remove windshields glued in place.

Just hit a road hump, road kill or steep angle drive - it comes straight off.

Another good way is a very high speed run after several small scrapes over a period of months.

Snap off the middle rivet and then at speed the lip will lower from the air pressure, you'll hear a scraping then...wait for it...BANG it's off and you ran over it.

Seriously, check to see it wasn't glued on, mine came that way from the dealer, they thought they were doing my a favor.

First time I recalled this question. It is usually "How do I keep it on?"
