GT3 and 993 wheel bolt pattern
Hey Guys
I have a buddy who's stuck and needs to get his GT3 with a flat to the tire place. I want to loan him my race wheels to save him calling a tow. Will the wheels from my 993 C4S fit his car? I'm assuming the bolt pattern is the same but wanted to check before I make the trip.

not sure about bolt patter, but you might want to chk brake clearance.
993c2s spare didn't fit 996C4s for example.

I run 18" wheels on my c4s but the track wheels are 17" Fikses with slicks. Just needs to drive 10mi or so to the tire place but point taken about the caliper clearance.

i put 993C2s spare on my 996c4s and drove 170 miles home. the brake caliper lost a lot of paint, but no other issues.
well, it was noisy on the way home as the wheel grinds the caliper, but didn't bother me very much.

The front might work but I doubt the rear will. You have wide body VS narrow body. Both front offset are in the 50s and GT3 rears are in the low 60s whereas the C4S rear, is in the 40s if I'm not mistaken.
Good luck

These wheels will fit, but you ABSOLUTELY must put spacers on the front for a 996/GT3. I use these rims for my second set of track tires.
The front wheels will fit and clear the brakes under normal use - even on the track, but with marginal clearance. I found under VERY HARD cornering with front load that the front wheels do flex enough to just brush the calipers with the raised lettering on the inside of the rims. Thats just a few MM, but that shows how close the clearance is.
The rear wheels are 10 instead of 11 inches, but are fine with my 295 cups. The offset puts them out a little wider, but switching back and forth between my CCW's with correct offsets and rear width and these was pretty transparent other than the difference in weight.
Use these wheels with thin spacers on a 996/GT3

Thanks for the replies. He's got a rear wheel flat. I'll be bringing up 2 rear 17" Fikses w slicks to put on the rear of the GT3 tomorrow morning. I'm assuming they'll work to get us to the tire place. If not, I'll take the 18" rears off my c4s.
