God it was ages since I took my GTI up there- best is 2:06 but mainly 2:08-09 range buts that on bypass. It's exclusive to Sears now. Sold my trailer so don't ask me how I get there. Just had tranny replaced- costs me $450 including labor. A set of rear toe links costs that much : (. Hey u know Andre of Andre's Foreign Car service(taraval st in San francisco)? I do know Andre, and Don if he's still there too. I think I got them a splitter for your car a couple times when I was at TRG. I would deliver and have some good conversations with Andre from time to time. It used to be on my way home when I commuted way up there. I like those guys.

$450 for a transmission replacement. VW racing is cost effective.
