Default Anyone need a 8:32 Ring and Pinion

Hey everyone,

Got a 8:32 ring and pinion for GT-3 if anyone is in need of one. This one is REM Micropolished and in excellant condition. I was thinking $1,595 as a new one NON-REM treated is about $2,399.00

I would be open to offers though, so long as they are not rediculious.

Thanks all,

Erik Johnson

REM treatment is a isotropic polishing or metal improvement process. Its excellent to do on gearbox internals such at gear sets, ring and pinions, spider and side gears etc. All of our race teams do this for friction reduction and component life purposes.

Thanks Chris, I could not have said that better. This has not been Cryogenically treated, just REM polished. It makes a world of difference though.

Your going to love it. Only thing if u have tracks that will exceed 140 in a straigtaway 5th needs to be used and boy does it take getting use to downshifting to 4th(very vague). Mike

Say goodbye to 1st gear. While I agree it's a good mod I don't think it is the PROPER way to go. You will still have the same gaps between gears that are very long. The only way to address this properly is with new gears that are chosen specifically for your needs. WIth only the R&P you change the speed at which that gear will max out but NOT the RPM drop or where that next gear RPM is. On the track, the RPM drop these cars have is BRUTAL and does not allow you to land in the meat of the power curve......new gears will, R&P will NOT.
