Hah what I like to hear .... We do exotics runs here for charity here in NY, awesome bunch of guys, some previous and still current Porsche owners but most wont come anywhere NEAR the track, different strokes for different folks but why I mentioned it..

I was there the last 2 times of this event and always surprised on what a great event these guys put on.

It is a worthwhile event if you are nearby. Here is the link

I have yet to meet a Lambo/Ferrari guy that can drive or is willing to really drive their cars. Maybe if I was in their shoes I would do the same but somehow I doubt it. I guess looking the part is more important.

Looks like fun driving on a track that has no walls or barricades. I would think it would allow you to hang it out there a little more, never had that experience. Having said that, I've seen more than one "off" where just crossing the rumble strips sideways in a spin causes surprising damage. Great video to watch while on break from yard work.

sorry I missed it dan- lets go friday morning!

oh and CTO- yes it is awesome driving on a track with no walls. I've gone off a few times pushing my cars 100% and having a lower fear factor increases the learning a lot considering we're all in similar boats and don't want to total our cars.

GreyGT3 - Carefull.... maybe in the USA that would be true - but definately way too much of a generalisation for me.

OK, you're right. I'm just jealous that I don't have a Ferrari or Lambo.

I'll bet if we were racing for a primo parking spot in front of a chique restaurant they would have driven faster..
