I'm having a very hard time getting excited about how the next generation M3 looks.

Agreed, doesn't seem as agressive as the previous M3 - seems to share body panels with the new 3 series coupe?!

Looks like an M5 in training. How the M3 has changed.... Think of the first M3, now that was a hot car!

Very bland. The tailpipes look cartoonish. Giving all the M's the same styling cues is a mistake. My old E46 M3 looked better.

The M3 will have a sunroof delete option like those that came before it.

Highly doubt CSL for US. We get the 'common' ones but at least the price is right vs. European price.

that's nice bmw offers the choice on the sunroof unlike porsche on the gt3.
what stops them from bringing the csl models to the states?

The new M3 looks too much like the current 3 coupe, and is not as aggressive as the current M3. I liked my E46 M3 much better than the new one looks.

The E46 sedan, coupe, and M3 was one of the most classic and beatiful designs I have ever seen IMO. I loved all of them. The E90 sedan does nothing for me, but the coupe looks ok. The E92 M3 is not doing it for me though. Strange.
