Default Shipping a GT3 cross country

Hi guys,

Anyone one have any recommendations on a good transporting company? I may need to ship my car as part of a move cross country. I know that intercitylines is supposed to be pretty good but expensive. Any other recommendations?

Thanks.

I agree. Buy a GT3 and then short change it with a cheap transport company. You have no idea how many horror story's I hear about bad transport companys. Go with Intercity, they are the best.

i was going to use Intercity to ship one of my customer's car but their wait is way to long. ended up calling Horseless Carriage. very very happy with the service & the owner was very happy with them as well. HC is about 200 bucks cheaper than Intercity but still not cheap. give them a call.

btw, u don't need to worry about the car being too low. they know what they're doing.

Exotic car carrier, Orlando, Florida. They transported my GT3 from Pompano Beach, Fl to Annapolis, Md. No problem, perfect delivery. Enclosed trailer, reasonable price. They transport F-cars, Lambo's and Carerra GT's, among other exotic cars. Great reputation.

If you are using a movers van line (ie Bekins, etc) for the move...did you know that they can stuff the car inside the trailer as well...then all arrives at the same time.
Just a thought

i have used passport autotransport 6 times so far to move cars across the country. In fact i jsut recieved another quote from them for 1960.00 to move my Cup car from VA to the seattle area.
they are more expensive but - i have never had a problem with them, thier drivers, or thier service. Why go cheap when you just spent 30K fixing a car. I am also shipping a IMS Ramp Van from FL to WA it is about the same cost as my 964 cup.
They are a division of Fed-X now

A budy of mine shipped a boat on his moving van owhen he came out here - they destroyed it transfering from the truck to the depot to the truck, etc. He gota new boat out of it though from our companies insurance no-less.

Horseless Carriage or Intercity.....PCNA uses them

I have used both numerous times....good availablity for East/West hauls......why save a few hundred on a 100K investment

Don't ship it!! I will drive it across the country for you!!

No, but seriously I have used intercity and been very happy with them. As said already, you pay a little more and you pay for what you get.
